Welcome to Clark Energy Cooperative

Clark Energy is a not-for-profit electric utility based in Winchester, Kentucky. We provide electric service to more than 26,000 meters in 11 east central Kentucky counties. As a cooperative, we differ from investor-owned utilities in that we are owned by the customers we serve and not by stockholders. Clark Energy is governed by a board of nine directors that are elected from each district of the membership and are responsible for establishing our policies and procedures. In 1998, we became a part of the Touchstone Energy family of 930 Touchstone Energy cooperatives. Together, the Touchstone Energy cooperatives serve over 40 million customers in 47 states and distribute power over 2.4 million miles of line.
