Welcome to Clark Energy Cooperative. Clark Energy is a not-for-profit electric utility based in Winchester, Kentucky. We provide electric service to more than 26,000 customers in 11 east central Kentucky counties. As a cooperative, we differ from investor-owned utilities in that we are owned by the customers we serve and not by stockholders. Clark Energy is governed by a board of nine directors that are elected from each district of the membership and are responsible for establishing our policies and procedures. In 1998, we became a part of the Touchstone Energy family of 680 Touchstone Energy cooperatives. Together, the Touchstone Energy cooperatives serve over 40 million customers in 46 states.
