Youth Tour

Since 1972, Clark Energy and other Kentucky electric cooperatives have participated in the Rural Electric Youth Tour. Selected high school delegates from Clark Energy’s service territory spend an all-expense paid week in Washington, DC with other students from Kentucky and nationwide. During this activity-filled week, co-op sponsored students learn about electric cooperatives, American history, U.S. government, and the important roles they play in today’s society and in policy-making decisions.

Applications for the 2010 Youth Tour are available in your high school guidance counselors' offices or any Clark Energy office location in Frenchburg, Stanton, and Winchester. You can also download an application by clicking here. All applications must be returned to the Winchester office by 3 p.m. on Friday, March 5, 2010 or be postmarked by March 5, 2010.
