Touchstone Living
As a part of our goal to bring added value to our customers, Clark Energy offers a variety of programs to increase your home's value and efficiency. These programs include:
|
- Touchstone Energy Home:
Based on the national Energy Star program, following specific guidelines in new construction enable the homeowner to see a potential of 30% annual reduction in energy costs over a standard stick-built home.
- Geothermal Systems: The most cost-efficient heating and cooling system in the marketplace today. These systems offer a 3 to 1 coefficient of performance (COP) rating which simply means that for every $1 you spend, you receive $3 worth of value in heating and cooling.
- Air Source Heat Pumps: A more commonly means of electrically heating and cooling your home for year round comfort.
- Electric Thermal Storage (ETS):
Room units that heat and save you money at the same time. Most commonly used in remodeling scenarios, these units are a warm-room concept that can be used to heat areas of your home or as an added heat source to an existing system.
- Button Up: Simple upgrades such as added insulation and/or new windows in your home can improve its energy performance and save you money.
- Heat Loss/Heat Gain Analysis:
In order to better assist you in making an informed decision about the choices of HVAC systems in either a replacement of an existing system or new construction, we can conduct an analysis of your home to give you an idea of heating and cooling costs associated with each.
- Manufactured Home: An alternative to stick built homes, manufactured homes can be purchased with higher efficiency heating and cooling systems upon request of the homeowner. Existing manufactured homes with fossil fuel or radiant heat can be retrofitted with an air-source heat pump to achieve pleasing results. This will result in lower electric bills for you and increase your home's value.
