News1/20/2010 NOTICE SimpleSaver Direct Load Control ParticipantsIt has come to our attention that the digital thermostats that were installed as a part of the SimpleSaver Direct Load Control program may have a potential problem that could lead to overheating. At this time, there is no independent evidence this product creates a risk, but precautionary measures are being taken to remove the thermostats from all Clark Energy members’ homes and replace them with a programmable thermostat that is not used in the SimpleSaver program. If you are a participant in this program and had a digital thermostat installed in lieu of the credit on your electric bill, please call 1-800-305-5493 and arrange to have the thermostat replaced.
