Heat Loss/Gain Analysis

As a free service to our members, our energy advisor will perform a heat loss/heat gain analysis to properly determine the size of heating and cooling equipment that you will need to meet your home’s thumbprint. Factors for sizing the equipment include orientation of the home, insulation values, window and door types, and square footage. For new home construction, a copy of your blueprints will be needed. If you are retrofitting an existing system, a site visit to make a rough sketch of your home may be necessary.

Using the calculations made available from the analysis, Clark Energy can also give you an energy usage comparison between different types of heating systems you may be considering installing, including fossil fuel systems.
