Heating/Cooling

Replacement of existing systems

Making a selection on how to heat and cool your home when replacing an older system is a critical one.

High-efficiency air-source heat pumps, geothermal systems, or mini-split ductless systems are all excellent choices. In a single system, each source delivers heating and central cooling with added efficiency, performance, and savings when compared to older HVAC systems.

Replacement of resistance heat

If you currently have an electric furnace, ceiling cable, or electric baseboard in your home and the heating system is 10 years old or older, and you replace it with a high-efficiency heat pump, geothermal, or mini-split ductless system, you may qualify for a rebate of $500 to $1,000. Rebates are subject to inspection and approval by our energy advisor.

Replacement of heat pump, geothermal, or gas furnace

If you looking to replace an inefficient or aging heat pump, geothermal, or gas furnace, our rebate program will pay an incentive of $300 for the installation of an air-source heat pump with a minimum SEER rating of 15.0/HSPF of 8.5, geothermal, or mini-split ductless system. The member will be responsible for filing for the ENERGY STAR rebate online by clicking here. A paper rebate form can be requested by calling Clark Energy’s offices at 1-800-992-3269, option 7.
