Many homes have air bypasses and insulation voids that rob you of comfort and money. Simple upgrades such as replacing doors and windows or adding insulation can reduce your monthly electric bill and the cost of these upgrades can often be recouped in a few months.

Some things to remember...

  • Must be a stick-built or manufactured home that is at least two years of age and using electric heat as the primary heat source to participate in program.
  • Before and after heat loss/heat gain calculations must be done to verify BTU savings.
  • Copies of receipts for materials purchased must be presented and work completed within a six month time period from date of purchase of materials.
  • On-site visit by a Clark Energy representative is necessary to verify work has been done.
  • One-time payment only-cannot be paid on each upgrade.
  • An incentive of $20 per 1,000 BTUs decrease in heat loss will be paid with a maximum payment of $400 allowed.
